Michele Crawford – Flower Box QuiltsSince 1989, Michele Crawford - designer, teacher, author, marketing consultant plus website owner and quilt pattern company, Flower Box Quilts - has had over 4500 designs published in 40 quilting and needlework publications and websites; and worked with for 35 fabric, thread, and batting manufacturers. Besides quilting, she enjoys combining cross stitch, hand embroidery with quilting plus English Paper Piecing. Since 2007, she has taught and vended at national quilt shows (AQS Branson, Daytona Beach, and Paducah; Home Machine Quilting Show; Northwest Quilting Expo; Houston Quilt Festival; Quilt Expo Reno; Road to California; Rocky Mountain Quilt Festival; Rusty Barn shows; Sewing and Stitchery Expo); and various quilt guilds across the country; and now virtually since 2021. Michele writes, “Teaching quilting classes is my way of sharing the joy and creativity that quilting has brought into my life. I believe that every piece of fabric has a story to tell, and my goal is to help others discover and express their own quilting stories through hands-on learning and inspiration. My students will find my classes jam packed with cutting, piecing plus pressing tips and techniques, enthusiasm, and encouragement! I want my students to have FUN, to try something new, and know there isn’t a ‘quilt police’ in my classes.” www.flowerboxquilts.com |
