Hand embroidery is a trendy skill now to learn and embellish many personal and home items using your creativity! It's a portable project where you decide what stitches and floss colors to use! This is a FUN sampler of many embroidery stitches to learn, and when completed can be hung in your sewing room! A short power point program of ideas that can be hand embroidered will be presented for inspiration.
* This is a technique class and this project will not be completed in class.
Kit/handout Fee: $15 (Paid to the teacher in the classroom).
Kit includes: Pre-printed fabric (as shown), embroidery needle, floss (colors are shown in the photo), and an illustrated stitching guide.
Student supply list:
7" round embroidery hoop
Small sharp pair of scissors (for fabric)
*If needed or desired: Thimble; battery operated portable light
*If you do not like the tan/brown floss included in the kit, then please bring your own 6-strand skeins of floss in the colors you desire.
