Let's have FUN with your fabric stash! This is a stress-free way to create a FABULOUS log cabin block (12" x 12" square or 15" x 15" square finished) in a creative non-traditional way. Make your squares from the same color family OR in light/medium/dark fabrics. Michele will discuss how to make 7 different quilt sizes with this block adapting the quilt size to fit your bed! Michele will also share her accurate piecing, and pressing techniques!
*This is a technique class; you will create 3 - 4 blocks, but your quilt will not be completed in class.
Kit/handout Fee: $10 (Paid to the teacher in the classroom).

Student supply list:
60+ assorted scraps and strips (combination of 2" - 4" squares, fat quarters, and 1 1/2" - 3" wide strips x 21" long (various colors, textures, prints) - the more the merrier!
One large spool of 100% cotton thread (light or medium grey)
*This is also a SUPER way to use up spools of thread so any color that you have will work.
*If desired: your own rotary cutter; and a cutting mat
Acrylic rulers (1" x 6"; and 5" or 6" square); and a 4" x 14"

* SEWING MACHINES ARE NOT PROVIDED IN THIS CLASS. Bring your own machine in good working order, pedal and cord.
Sewing Machine and Supply storage: For your convenience, we have available, free of charge temporary and overnight storage at the class registration desk located at Nevada Office 1, across the hall from classroom N5 on the lower level of the hotel.
