Aubryanna includes a technique that is often feared; partial seams. Once you understand the mechanics of the process, it becomes easily apparent that this is one technique that is actually rather simple. The blocks stitch up quickly. You will also experience flying geese, half square triangles, as well as how to embrace a diagonal setting.

Learn to make one of Toby's most popular patterns. If you have never attempted to piece an eight-point star block because you think it is too hard, this is the workshop for you. Precision piecing tips will make this block go together accurately. You will learn how to do "y" seams without marking and a method for fast four patches.

You will learn to use the tool, to make traditional Baptist fan design. Dusty will then show you how to make each individual fan unique with free motion work and a variety of threads. He will also show you several other uses of the Baptist fan tool. This class is packed full of design ideas based on the very traditional. The sky is the limit in this class from traditional to trendy in three hours.

Pattern Alteration: Looking at the Whole Picture - ST-6

Often when we begin a pattern alteration process, we just focus on the biggest change first. STOP! Look at the "whole picture" of the body area we are fitting and check to see if there are multiple alterations that might be needed. We may be able to combine some alterations and perhaps even eliminate some. Learn the order of checking measurements and how they relate to one another. This class will give a new awareness in looking at our body differences!
