Learn how to construct a wallet designed to hold your basic everyday electronics. This special wallet, with 2 zipper pockets, will also hold your other essentials like credit cards, ID, and cash. RFID fabric is included to protect your sensitive information from electronic theft.
To start, personalize your Cell Phone Wallet with thread embellishment, adding unique designs and decorative stitches to make it truly one-of-a-kind. Add extra texture with couching of heavy threads. Finish the edges of your wallet with bias binding, adding a professional touch to your project. Attach a loop of webbing with a swivel hook for a secure way to carry your wallet attached to your belt or inside a tote. Use it as a wristlet.
By the end of class, you'll walk away with a finished project that's not only practical and functional but also a reflection of your own creativity and style. So, join us and embark on a fun-filled journey of sewing and creativity. Leave with a Cell Phone Wallet that's uniquely yours!
Kit/handout Fee: $35 (Paid to the teacher in the classroom).
Kit includes: Precut fabric fused to foam, RFID cloth, binding, webbing for strap, 2 zippers, decorative threads for couching, variegated thread for the needle, top-stitching needle, swivel snap hook, pattern, couching instructions and more.
Student supply list:
Sewing basics (pins, clips, thread clips, marking pencil, fabric scraps for testing stitches)
Light & dark thread
5" scissors for cutting appliqué
Rotary Cutter with a New Blade
Rotary Ruler (at least 14" long)
Anything that makes your sewing easier.
