Take a simple piece of fabric and learn how to add quilting to turn it into a piece of art. Spend the afternoon learning how to use a longarm machine to turn fabric and thread into art. Work on Handi Quilter Amara 20s with Pro-Stitchers, guided by Handi Quilter National Educators. Take home your wall hanging to serve as inspiration for future projects!
Kit/handout Fee: $20 Cash only, please (Paid to the teacher in the classroom).
Kit includes: Panel, backing fabric, batting, and thread.
Student supply list: Paper, writing tool, and fabric scissors.
This class is a hands-on, free-motion, stand-up longarm class--two students per machine head. The Machines in this room are Handi Quilter Amara 20, provided by Handi Quilter, and Sierra Sewing, Quilting & Vacuums.
