Unzip this magical bag to make an ironing pad. Carry your iron to class or retreats in the Handy Ironing Pad Tote. Lined with Ironslide Stick-on Reflective Ironing Board Cover Material made from a space-age fabric that reflects the heat of your iron back to the fabric (garment). The shape of the bag is formed with the zipper placement. The 2 zippers are stitched on in a nontraditional way. Side pockets hold extra notions. The bag is padded with quilted fabric for ease of ironing. The edges are finished with binding.
Should you wish to make a lunch bag rather than the ironing pad, the Ironslide is not necessary and the kit fee will vary somewhat.
Kit/handout Fee: $65 (Paid to the teacher in the classroom). Kit includes: Precut Quilted fabric, Ironslide cloth, binding, pocket quilted fabric with zipper trim, decorative threads, Top-stitch needle, 2 designer zippers, webbing for strap, instructions and more.
Student supply list: Sewing basics (pins, clips, thread clips, marking pencil, fabric scraps for testing stitches) Light and dark thread Scissors Rotary Cutter with a New Blade Rotary Ruler (at least 14" long) Anything that makes your sewing easier.
