Famous fabric designer Loralie Harris has retired and closed her business, but fortunately, we have stockpiled some of her wonderful fabrics and offer a workshop with her fabrics and our patterns from Sew Wonderful Dreams. You will make a vinyl mesh tote bag, a reversible apron with elastic ties for neck and waist, and a creative tea towel, all using some of Loralie's best designs.
Kit/handout Fee: $40 (Paid to the teacher in the classroom). Kit includes: 3 patterns Fabric for apron front, gathered fabric for ties, 1" non-roll elastic, and fabric for pockets. Materials for tote bag: vinyl mesh, straps for handles, duck canvas for waterproofing, fusible interfacing, and all cloth fabrics. 3rd project to be announced, using Loralie fabrics.
Student supply list: Basic sewing supplies (scissors, thread, pins); one yard of black (or other color) fabric for the apron backing.
* SEWING MACHINES ARE NOT PROVIDED IN THIS CLASS. Bring your own machine in good working order, pedal and cord.
