Zippers can be used for more than closure on a bag or garment. Use zippers to create a necklace uniquely your own. With a few hand stitches to gather and glue, you'll be amazed at the selection of jewelry that can be created with decorative zipper tape, and coil or plastic zippers. Use the pulls for embellishment, too. No one will believe your jewelry started as a zipper or zipper yardage! Fun, easy-going class for beginners or the seasoned stitcher or crafter. Bring your imagination.
Kit/handout Fee: $30 (Paid to the teacher in the classroom).
Kit includes: Variety of decorative zippers, thread, glue, beads, instructions, and more.
Student supply list:
Basic sewing supplies (pins/clips, hand sewing needle, scissors for trimming or clipping), anything that makes your sewing easier.
