Sat. June 13, 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Level: All levels Class Type: Hands-on Category: Domestic Machine Quilting Machine(s): Not required Sierra Sewing, Quilting, & Vacuums provides Janome Sewing Machines in this room.
Do you ever struggle with the machine quilting design process? It can be difficult and intimidating when the top is finished and it is time to plan for the quilting.
Gina has quilted over 10,000 quilts over the past two decades and will share her design process with you starting with reading the quilt to determine suitable designs to enhance the finished top. She will teach you how to simplify the process using tools to mark, rulers to quilt with, and tips for free motion quilting.
Many different styles of quilts will be explored through Power Point. You will then design and quilt- a small practice piece using rulers and free motion quilting.
