Level: All Levels Class Type: Hands-on Category: Domestic Machine Sewing Machine(s): Not required (BERNINA Sewing Machines are being sponsored by Going Batty!)
Join Linda with a new concept using a 16" circle of fabric and foam to create a half-circle bag. Use for cosmetics, sewing accessories, electronics or whatever, this sweet bag opens completely using only one side of a zipper. Embellish with the double needle and other threadwork.
One of the mysteries waiting to unfold involves mastering the art of inserting a zipper with remarkable ease, using a unique method that simplifies the process using only one side of the zipper. Whether you're a novice or seasoned stitcher, Linda's expert guidance ensures you'll gain confidence and new skills. Finish the edge with the serger before applying the zipper chain. Attach the decorative pull after construction is complete. The zipper forms the shape of the bag. It's an adventure with thread and the magic of the sewing machine!
