Introducing the newest collaboration from Giucy Giuce and Alison Glass: Mini Series XL! Do you have a treasure trove of unused scraps in bins and Ziploc bags stuffed in every corner of your sewing space? Do you struggle with what to do with all these special leftovers from your beloved quilts? Then the Mini Series XL patterns are for you!
The first block in this new series is the beloved Pineapple block. Make yours from 4" all the way up to 24". Learn the ins and outs of precision paper piecing as well as how to tackle large-format FPP designs. Great for pillow tops, mini quilts, or beautifully intricate blocks for a quilt, the possibilities are endless! You'll learn every trick Giuseppe has up his sleeve, from construction to fabric choices.
Kit/handout Fee: $15 (Paid to the teacher in the classroom).
Kit includes: Template for class + Full pattern with additional template.
Student supply list: o Template + Pattern
o At least 1 yard of background fabric or scraps all in similar color for background
o FQs or fabric scraps ranging from 1.5" wide and up, in varying lengths up to 20"
o Small rotary cutter
o Cutting mat
o Sewing machine
o Thread (80 wt thread like Decobob by WonderFil suggested)
o Pins
o 12" Ruler or Add a Quarter ruler
o Seam roller (recommended)
o Paper scissors
o Transparent tape
