If you've ever dreamed of making a quilt start to finish in a single day, this is your chance. In this fun, fast-paced class you'll create an adorable Ruffle Quilt-As-You-Go masterpiece using your serger! We'll guide you step-by-step through joining, ruffling, and quilting all at once -- no separate piecing, basting, or quilting required. You'll finish with a soft, textured quilt full of personality and learn techniques that will make every future project faster and more fabulous.
Perfect for confident beginners and seasoned serger lovers alike, this project combines everything we love -- beautiful fabric, instant gratification, and that magical serger finish! Machines will be provided by Going Batty in Reno, so all you need to bring is your enthusiasm and your creative flair.
By day's end, you'll go home with a completely finished quilt -- binding and all -- plus the skills to make many more. Come discover just how easy (and addicting!) serger quilting can be!
Kit/handout Fee: $129.99 (Paid to the teacher in the classroom).
Kit includes: Fabric kit, batting, backing and binding all precut and prepped as well as thread usage.
Student supply list: Note paper and pen and scissors.
