Quilt your way to a Fabulous Hoodie!
Have you seen the latest quilting craze? It's quilted clothing. Think Quilt Con and Benson Boone's concert. Now is YOUR chance to add quilting to a Hoddie and make it uniquely yours! Learn the tips and tricks of using a longarm with both free motion and/or computerized quilting to customize a sweatshirt to create a one-of-a-kind conversation piece and show off quilting. You'll have 4.5 hours to create your custom jacket that you'll be able to wear home to show your friends. Kit/handout Fee: $20 Cash only, please (Paid to the teacher in the classroom). Kit includes: Applique fabric, backing fabric, batting, and thread.
Student supply list: Full-zip Hoodie (or similar garment), fabric marking tool, and fabric scissors.
This class is a hands-on, free-motion, stand-up longarm class-one students per machine head. The Machines in this room are Handi Quilter Amara 20, provided by Handi Quilter, and Sierra Sewing, Quilting & Vacuums.
