Love superheroes, video game characters, or bold graphic designs? Quiltoni is known for bringing favorite icons to life with her fun and striking pixel quilting technique--and now you can learn it, too!
In this class, Toni will teach you all the ins and outs of pixel quilting, from planning your design and organizing fabric placement to piecing together those signature blocky shapes that make characters and images pop right off the quilt. You'll discover how to break down a picture into a simple grid, select colors that give your design depth, and master the piecing techniques that make pixel quilts come together beautifully.
No need to bring a machine--top-quality overlockers are provided by Going Batty in Reno. That means you can focus entirely on learning, sewing, and having fun with this unique quilting style.
By the end of the course, you'll feel confident creating your own pixel masterpieces--whether it's a comic book hero, a beloved cartoon, or your own original design. Get ready to quilt outside the box with a technique that's both approachable and endlessly creative!
Kit/handout Fee: $65 (Paid in the classroom).
Kit includes: Fabric for the chosen Top, Pattern, and Thread.
