No experience necessary. We will be learning the meditative practice of improvisation piecing. Take home a small block to turn into an apron pocket, a sachet, a pillow or keep going and make a whole quilt.
Kit/handout Fee: $20 Paid to the teacher in the classroom. Kit includes: Fabric remnants and patterns.
Student supply list: Sewing machine in good working order All necessary supplies thread/scissor/pins/seam ripper, etc. Fabric scrap remnants (various sizes-please see class photo for guideline) Cutting mat, rotary cutter, small spray bottle or flatter spray mist.
* SEWING MACHINES ARE NOT PROVIDED IN THIS CLASS. Bring your own machine in good working order, pedal and cord.
Sewing Machine and Supply storage: For your convenience, we have available, free of charge temporary and overnight storage at the class registration desk located at Nevada Office 1, across the hall from classroom N5 on the lower level of the hotel.
