Join Giuseppe Ribaudo of Giucy Giuce as he shows you everything you need to know to English paper piece with his newest pattern, Petunia.. Obsessed with all things hand sewing, this workshop will teach you the ins and outs of EPP. You'll learn all about fabric selection, techniques like fussy cutting and mirroring to create kaleidoscopic designs, and of course everything you need to know about basting and stitching your blocks.
The best part of the workshop is when we all get to sit and stitch together! This is a stress-free and super relaxing class that will make you fall in love with EPP.
Kit/handout Fee: $30 (Paid to the teacher in the classroom). Kit includes: Paper for 2 Petunia blocks, Giucy Giuce needle minder, Sew Tites, Giuseppe’s fave needles, a spool of Invisafil thread, and a Fixion pen.
Student supply list: Petunia Block (provided in kit) 6-8 fabric (or more) assorted fabrics that go together, with a mix of fussy-cuttable motifs, textures, stripes, etc. Sewline glue pen Hand sewing needles (provided in kit) Small rotary cutter (28mm recommended) Cutting mat 12” ruler with clear 3/8” markings Pen (provided in kit) Scissors Thread (provided in kit) Fussy cutting mirror (not required, but a very helpful tool)
