The necklace has been designed to be worn short, a tiny bit longer than a choker. If the necklace is made too long, then the shape can drape awkwardly and not sit flat. The finished size of the necklace is 15 in. and with the extension chain, (roughly 17 inches). The extension chain allows for small adjustments, ideal if you're making for someone else or to adapt to different necklines. Vintage Style Pearl Necklace uses simple bead weaving techniques with Vintage Swarovski pearls that are no longer manufactured, to create an elegant necklace valued at over $150.00.
Kit/handout Fee: $60 (Paid to the teacher in the classroom).
Kit includes:
- Over 100 Vintage Swarovski Pearls
- Extension chain
- Clasp
- Beading thread, and needles
- Various colors will be offered.
Student supply list: Scissors and glasses if needed.
