A little bit of ruler work goes a long way. Enhance your free-motion and feather quilting with contrasting straight lines. Refined ruler work really make a quilt "POP". The contrast between the straight line of ruler work and the curvy free-motion is what makes a wow statement in any quilt. In this class you will learn the following skills; 1. How to mark your quilt with grid lines to align with the reference lines on the rulers. 2. Select spacing lines on the ruler for proper scale. 3. Cross-Hatching, piano key borders and pivot and rotating the rulers. This class focuses on straight edge rulers.
Kit/handout Fee: $25 (Paid to the teacher in the classroom).
Kit includes: Muslin practice quilt top, 1/4 marking tool to assist with incremental ruler spacing.
Student supply list: Handi Quilter Versa tool ruler and Handi Quilter Skinny straight edge ruler. Both rulers are available to purchase from Heidi.
