Up Cycle Denim with the Pocket Pouch

Using the 3-panel bag design, create a one-of-a-kind pouchy bag with denim from old jeans. Use the pockets from the jeans or create your own. Add a secret pocket to the lining for keys or mad money. Fully lined, use a zipper for closure.
Kit/handout Fee: $25 (Paid to the teacher in the classroom).
Kit includes: Pattern, fusible fleece, decorative thread, corded piping, zipper for secret pocket, zipper for closure and more.
Student supply list: 2 pairs of jeans, 1 yd lining, 1 yd interfacing, basic sewing supplies (scissors, pins), thread for construction, anything that makes your sewing easier (extra light, fan, seat cushion). May share irons, rotary cutter with ruler and mat. Feet--zipper or corded piping foot.
* SEWING MACHINES ARE NOT PROVIDED IN THIS CLASS. Bring your own machine in good working order, pedal and cord.
Sewing Machine and Supply storage: For your convenience, we have available, free of charge temporary and overnight storage at the class registration desk located at Nevada Office 1, across the hall from classroom N5 on the lower level of the hotel.
