The Recipe for a Sweatshirt Jacket - SS-16Connie Spurlock
Level: All Levels, Lecture/Demo
Category: Garment Construction
The only thing better than reading recipes is eating the finished product! You will love the finished results of the following recipe! Take one prewashed sweatshirt, your size in a unisex sweatshirt, preferably one from a good thrift shop; add pieces of fun and colorful fabric, possibly using materials from unfinished projects; using decorative stitches ~ go crazy as you quilt the jacket; add ribbons, yarns, braids, crystals, paint and anything else that comes to mind. Those are the basic ingredients and we will show you the options and opportunities to make pockets, line the lower sleeves and finish with stunning results. Come have fun ~ ideal for adult or children.
