Scrappy Hearts Michele Crawford
Fri. June 12, 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Level: All Levels
Class Type: Hands-on
Machine(s): Sewing Machine required
What DO you do with all those leftover scraps? Be frugal and thrifty by recycling your scraps! Dig deep into your 100% cotton scraps first! You will want a variety of fabrics including florals, graphics, geometrics, calicoes, novelties, stripes, dots, checks, batiks, plaids, solids, neutrals, paisleys, and tonals in different colors, scale and value! You can mix 1/4 yard cuts, fat quarters, jelly rolls, charm packs, 1/8 yard cuts, and large scraps depending on how scrappy you want your quilt to be! Then separate the fabrics into piles of light, medium and dark! Think COLOR VALUE - light, medium and dark - (and not the specific color) when separating! We will discuss this at the beginning of the class. Bring extra fabric strips in case you want to "audition" fabrics or share strips with your quilting buddies before you start to sew!
Kit/handout Fee: $8 (Paid to the teacher in the classroom).
Kit includes: Quilt Pattern.
