Welcome to this introductory rulerwork quilting class. Guided-motion quilting with templates sets you free from many of the struggles of free-motion quilting by helping you make smooth curves and "straight" lines. We start right at the beginning with the machine setup. Techniques include an easier stitch-in-the-ditch method, multiple designs, helpful tools, and lots of tips and tricks to get you on your way. Some free-motion experience is helpful but not required.
Kit/handout Fee: There is no kit fee for this class but if you need help getting the required Westalee Design or Sew Steady tools, the instructor can help you. Please see the supply list for more information and her contact details.
Kit includes: None

*Ruler feet are machine specific. They come in high, medium, and low shank. There is also a special foot for straight stitch only machines. Your templates must match the ruler foot. If you have trouble finding what you need, please contact me at Kate@FabriKatedQuilts.com and I will help you get what you need for class.
SEWING MACHINES ARE NOT PROVIDED. Bring your own machine in good working order, pedal and cord.
Package & Sewing machine storage is available temporarily and overnight, free of charge at the information desk located inside the Convention Center.
