Welcome to this introductory rulerwork quilting class. Guided-motion quilting with templates sets you free from many of the struggles of free-motion quilting by helping you make smooth curves and "straight" lines. We start right at the beginning with machine setup. Quilting techniques include an easier stitch-in-the-ditch method, multiple designs, helpful tools, and lots of tips and tricks to get you on your way. This class is technique driven and not designed to create a final project. We include instructions on how to use 7 different types of templates, directions for several designs, and a trunk show full of ideas to enhance your quilting using templates by Westalee Design. Some free-motion experience is helpful but not required.
Kit/handout Fee: $5 (Paid to the teacher in the classroom).
Kit includes: Handout materials. There is no specific kit fee for this class but the instructor can provide the necessary Westalee and Sew Steady tools if desired. Please see the supply list for information and contact details.
