Have you ever thought of turning your hobby into a business? Do you want to earn some fun money or even transition into a new career. Heidi has been professionally quilting for hire for over 20 years. For a few years, she was single supporting herself on just her longarm quilting. Come and learn the best trade secrets. Heidi will cover the following topics; How do I know if I'm good enough? How do I get customers? How do I price for edge-to-edge AND price for custom quilting? How do I work with local quilt shops and guilds? How do I get out of the "friend zone" (friends don't let friends quilt for free) How do I manage my time while I'm still working another full-time job? What type of license and/or places I need to register my business? How do I track my financials? Kit/handout Fee: $10 Cash only for the hand-out fee (Paid to the teacher in the classroom). Kit includes: Comprehensive hand-outs with photos, a business starter plan, and detailed instructions will be provided.
