June 13, 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM Level: All levels Class Type: Hands-on Category: Other (Art Quilts) Machine(s): not required Learn how to analyze your pet's photo to bring out their personality in a small pet portrait quilt. Fun to do, even if you are completely new to art quilts. Working from your pet's "head shot" photo, we will examine choosing the best shot, and selecting the most critical characteristics to transfer to bring out their unique features. Students will cut and layer fabrics to create a one-of-a-kind portrait. Thread painting and finishing techniques will be discussed. Pre-class photo prep is required.
