Ever wondered how to get realistic dimensions in your quilts? You will create Samples of -Pine Needles, Tree Bark, Leaves, confetti for trees or flowers, and more. You will learn how to create a pattern from your own photo. Learn about different stabilizers- why and when to use them. You will leave class with the beginnings of your technique bible-- the directions and a sample of each technique to reference.
Kit/handout Fee: $45 (Paid to the teacher in the classroom).
Kit includes: Guides and supplies for each technique covered in class, Wash away and Tear Away stabilizers, Fabric, Stitch and Steam, Threads of different weights.
Student supply list: Sewing Machine with a free-motion foot. Basic sewing supplies.
* SEWING MACHINES ARE NOT PROVIDED IN THIS CLASS. Bring your own machine in good working order, pedal and cord.
Sewing Machine and Supply storage: For your convenience, we have available, free of charge temporary and overnight storage at the class registration desk located at Nevada Office 1, across the hall from classroom N5 on the lower level of the hotel.
