Fear grids and fills no more! Straight lines can be your best friend. Use grids for rulerwork and as a guide for perfectly-spaced freehand designs. You will gain confidence in producing beautiful crosshatching and unique variations using minimal tools. Learn how to use temporarily marked grids as a guide for spacing beautiful, freehand designs. A variety of unique freehand filler designs will be explored, and you will learn how to achieve balance and control in your work.

Student supply list:
- Notebook
- Pen, and pencil
- Thread snips
- Erasable marking implement Fabric markers (both light and dark)
- Thread (contrasting to fabric)
- (10) practice quilt and backing fabric sandwiches (approx. 12" x 12" squares- solid/dark colored fabric/cotton batting/12" square backing fabric)
* SEWING MACHINES ARE NOT PROVIDED IN THIS CLASS. Bring your own machine in good working order, pedal and cord.
Sewing Machine and Supply storage: For your convenience, we have available, free of charge temporary and overnight storage at the class registration desk located at Nevada Office 1, across the hall from classroom N5 on the lower level of the hotel.
