A leafy gala of fabric, color, free-cutting, improvisation, and free-motion stitching. Great first experience for those with new to free-motion machine quilting! Fun, fun, fun, and most everyone finishes their little quilt (a small version of pictured).
Kit/handout Fee: $35 (Paid to the teacher in the classroom).
Kit includes: Quilt "sandwich" 20" square; fabrics for applique, chalk, and glue.
Student supply list: Rotary cutter and mat, fabric scissors, various threads your machine tolerates (variegated or solid - include a bright red/orange, tan/gold/yellow, maybe green/turquoise, a light, a dark. Don't freak out or get carried away:) Machine set-up for free-motion machine quilting.
* SEWING MACHINES ARE NOT PROVIDED IN THIS CLASS. Bring your own machine in good working order, pedal and cord.
Sewing Machine and Supply storage: For your convenience, we have available, free of charge temporary and overnight storage at the class registration desk located at Nevada Office 1, across the hall from classroom N5 on the lower level of the hotel.
