Slow down, relax, and enjoy hand sewing with English Paper Piecing (EPP)! There are many different geometric shapes used in EPP, and jewels are a FUN shape to create, and use with other shapes such as a hexagon and triangle. A short power point programs on what you can make and do with jewels will be presented for inspiration.
Kit/handout Fee: $20 (Paid to the teacher in the classroom).
Kit includes: Fabric for the 3 projects; paper templates to make the 3 projects; freezer paper shapes; 2 milliner's needles (#9 and #11); a sharp needle; thread to match; 3 mini clips' water-soluble fabric glue pen; pattern.
Student supply list: Small pair of sharp scissors (fabric); spool of thread (any color) for basting; a hand sewing needle that is comfortable for you; and IF desired, a thimble, a portable battery powered light, and bifocals.
