Create beautifully quilted designs using ruler-guided and free-motion style quilting. Heidi will show you a variety of designs that will enhance any quilt top. Use rulers to create amazing framework and structure this will complement the texture and movement of the free-motion designs. The combination of structured lines and free-motion will give your quilts the POP you've been looking for. Kit/handout Fee: $20 Cash only for the hand-out fee. (Paid to the teacher in the classroom). Kit includes: Pre-marked practice quilt sandwich. Hand-outs include comprehensive detailed instructions and photos.
Student supply list: Paper and pen for taking notes, Sewing machine don't forget power cord and foot pedal, Ruler foot specific to fit your machine. Attach your ruler foot and drop your feed-dogs. NEW Size 90 quilting needle Neutral thread, use good quality machine quilting thread Pre-wind 2-3 bobbins Thread snips, 4 X 8-inch ruler, fabric marking pen one for light fabrics and one for dark fabrics Photos and video are not permitted. Hand-outs will have detailed photos and step-by-step written instructions..
* SEWING MACHINES ARE NOT PROVIDED IN THIS CLASS. Bring your own machine in good working order, pedal and cord.
Sewing Machine and Supply storage: For your convenience, we have available, free of charge temporary and overnight storage at the class registration desk located at Nevada Office 1, across the hall from classroom N5 on the lower level of the hotel.
