Join us for a dynamic 2-day workshop designed especially for those wanting to explore longarming and those who are considering the purchase of a longarm quilting machine! Led by expert Handi Quilter National Educators, this hands-on experience is all about learning, exploring, and having fun with the basics of longarm quilting.
You'll get to try your hand at:
-Free motion quilting
-Quilting with rulers
-Computerized quilting using Pro-Stitcher
Each participant will work directly on a Handi Quilter Amara 20 machine equipped with Pro-Stitcher technology, ensuring a fully immersive and interactive learning environment. Whether you're brand new to longarm quilting or just curious about what these machines can do, this workshop is the perfect way to dive in and discover the possibilities.
Come ready to quilt, connect, and be inspired!
Kit/handout Fee: $20 Cash only, please (Paid to the teacher in the classroom).
Kit includes: Top and backing fabric, batting, and thread.
Student supply list: Paper and writing tool.
This class is a hands-on, free-motion, stand-up longarm class--two students per machine head. The Machines in this room are Handi Quilter Amara 20, provided by Handi Quilter, and Sierra Sewing, Quilting & Vacuums.
