Learn the elements of art quilting while preparing this charming applique Dandelion. We'll cover fabric selection, fabric shading, best fusible web for applique and shadows, hand stitching, using markers for details and more in this fun fabulous class! Quilting will be discussed, then completed outside of class.
Kit/handout Fee: $35 (Paid to the teacher in the classroom).
Kit includes: Brown tulle, 3 white sheers, black tulle, fusible web, fabric for leaves, veins, stems and flowers, embroidery floss, freezer paper, parchment paper. Use of instructor's markers, templates, fray check.
Student supply list: Straight pins, embroidery needle (large eye), micron pen .05 black or dark brown, sharp tip scissors (micro-serrated preferred), light color thread not white, xacto knife, embroidery hoop 6"-8", rotary mat, cutter and ruler.
