Do you want to make traveling with your full-size mat easier? Have you ever wished for a LARGE sturdy bag for vacationing or taking quilts to show and tell? Make taking your tools to classes super easy with this tote bag designed to carry your 18" x 24" rotary cutting mat and 6 1/2" x 24 1/2" rotary ruler with plenty of room for extra class supplies. Starting with quilted fabric this bag goes together so quickly you may be able to finish it in class, then throw it over your shoulder and carry your supplies back home!
Kit/handout Fee: $5 (Paid to the teacher in the classroom).
Kit includes: Cutting Mat tote pattern
Student supply list: Sewing machine with walking foot, power cord, foot pedal and manual. 2 yards QUILTED fabric (min 42" wide) 2/3-yard complimentary fabric for binding, 8" long piece of 3/4" or 1" wide Velcro, straight pins, fabric scissors to cut quilted fabric, fabric marking pencil, thread spool and bobbin to match each side of quilted fabric and binding fabric, size 90/14 sewing machine needles, rotary cutter, 6 1/2" x 24 1/2" rotary ruler, 18" x 24" rotary mat.
* SEWING MACHINES ARE NOT PROVIDED IN THIS CLASS. Bring your own machine in good working order, pedal and cord.
Sewing Machine and Supply storage: For your convenience, we have available, free of charge temporary and overnight storage at the class registration desk located at Nevada Office 1, across the hall from classroom N5 on the lower level of the hotel.
