Create Smooth Curves with Reverse Appliqué and Invisible Seams with the Mini Moons Quilt Pattern.
Discover how easy it is to create this stunning miniature quilt! Jen will guide you through a unique technique using a bit of freezer paper and Elmer's glue to achieve perfectly smooth, small curves. Whether you highlight a fun charm pack in the circles or use solid fabrics for a modern look, this class offers endless creative possibilities. As a bonus, we'll explore how contrast and block orientation can transform your quilt. Join us and be amazed at what you can create!
Kit/handout Fee: $13.00 (Paid to the teacher in the classroom).
Kit includes: Mini Moons Quilt Pattern.
Student supply list:
1 charm pack or twenty 5" squares
1/3 yd of two background fabrics
Coordinating thread
Elmer's School Glue or basting glue
Freezer paper
Marking pen
Spray starch
Rotary cutter & small mat
Fabric scissors
Paper scissors
Small ruler
Sewing machine with a standard foot or open-toe foot, and a quarter-inch foot.
* SEWING MACHINES ARE NOT PROVIDED IN THIS CLASS. Bring your own machine in good working order, pedal and cord.
Sewing Machine and Supply storage: For your convenience, we have available, free of charge temporary and overnight storage at the class registration desk located at Nevada Office 1, across the hall from classroom N5 on the lower level of the hotel.
