Join Linda for a behind-the-scenes peek at how quilt designs, books, and fabrics go from concept (her ideas) to quilted (you!).
She will share her thought processes and sources of inspiration, including her middle-of-the-night epiphanies, or climbing through the bushes to get the right photo angle before security arrives.
She also covers some pattern designing (how to choose the right size pieces, choosing fabrics, submitting your ideas, copyright), fabric designing (how the designs begin with an image, the process between the company and designer, inspirations). You will be amazed when you hear how far ahead the designers and companies work, the "rewards", the processes involved, and the deadlines!
Linda is an animated and energetic speaker. Her presentations are always entertaining and educational!
