Foundation paper piecing allows for much more accuracy in piecing small or complex shapes and irregular angles. The paper acts as a stabilizer; thus, the fabric is less likely to stretch or distort. There is also no need for precise cutting or pinning.
Our COLOR FUSION project is certainly complex LOOKING; however, once broken down into easy, manageable components (only TWO seams to stitch per component), it can be assembled quite quickly and easily.
And even better, you probably already have the fabrics needed (except for the background) already in your stash!! You will easily be able to make this quilt larger (or smaller) simply by making more blocks. There are quite a few different design/color alternatives that you can incorporate into your quilt as well.
Kit/handout Fee: $30 Cash preferred (Paid to the teacher in the classroom).
Kit includes: : Full color pattern, foundation paper, two re-useable foundation piecing stencils NO fabric.

* SEWING MACHINES ARE NOT PROVIDED IN THIS CLASS. Bring your own machine in good working order, pedal and cord.
Sewing Machine and Supply storage: For your convenience, we have available, free of charge temporary and overnight storage at the class registration desk located at Nevada Office 1, across the hall from classroom N5 on the lower level of the hotel.
