Fusing makes half day class fun and easy. You will learn machine quilting tricks to complete this colorful wall hanging at home. A kit (hand dyed fabric, butterflies' pattern, and quilting instructions) takes the worry out of fabric selection. Kit/handout Fee: $30 (Paid to the teacher in the classroom). Kit includes: 1 yard of hand-dyed fabric (your choice of colors); butterflies' pattern; quilting instructions. Student supply list: 3 yards of fusible web (with paper backing) such as Pellon 805 Wonder Under; pencil; scissors for fabric and paper; pins; Teflon applique sheet (optional); Background fabric for the butterfly quilt (1 yard for 1 butterfly, 2 yards for 3 butterflies, each butterfly measures 18" x 26").
