Want to play with fibers? We will experiment with Silks and dying cheesecloth to create different background effects. Yarns will create a dimensional bird nest and pom poms covered in silk create eggs. Collage a bird - using applique and confetti techniques! Silk fusion will be discussed and used for the leaves! You will Free motion quilt your background.
Kit/handout Fee: $45 (Paid to the teacher in the classroom).
Kit includes: Fabric, batting, and thread.
Student supply list: Basic Sewing Supplies, a variety of threads, Scissors, and Free motion foot for your sewing machine.
* SEWING MACHINES ARE NOT PROVIDED IN THIS CLASS. Bring your own machine in good working order, pedal and cord.
Sewing Machine and Supply storage: For your convenience, we have available, free of charge temporary and overnight storage at the class registration desk located at Nevada Office 1, across the hall from classroom N5 on the lower level of the hotel.
