We will look at stitch order, intricate quilting designs, and echoing techniques that transform applique into a true showpiece. Learn how to highlight each applique shape and create quilting that enhances rather than competes with the design. Multiple samples will be shared so you can see firsthand how different quilting approaches impact applique quilts.
You'll leave with a wealth of ideas and the confidence to make your applique tops shine. Students should be familiar with both free-motion quilting and ruler work.
