Help spread the word--it is fun to sew and create. Bring a Newbie to class. It could be a daughter, son, granddaughter, niece, cousin, friend; young or "mature." People start sewing at all ages. Each will make a Taylor's Bag. Designed with a beginner and quick projects in mind, this bag is the inspiration of an 11-year-old! Easy to make with 2 zipper pockets and a flap pocket, this crossbody bag is the perfect size for essentials. Experiment with decorative stitches. Both Newbie and seasoned stitcher will make a bag.
Kit/handout Fee: $30 (Paid to the teacher in the classroom).
Kit includes: Fabric, Steam-A-Seam, zippers, swivel hook, and webbing to make 2 bags. One Taylor's Pattern per kit.
Student supply list: Basic sewing supplies--small scissors, pins, marking tools, iron--may share. Anything that makes your sewing easier
SEWING MACHINES ARE NOT PROVIDED. Bring your own machine in good working order, pedal and cord.
Package & Sewing machine storage is available temporarily and overnight, free of charge at the information desk located in the lobby of the convention center.
