Level: All Levels Class Type: Hands-on Category: Handwork Machine(s): not required
Riveting is the most popular cold connection technique in jewelry making today. Riveting allows the artist to join metal sheets or blanks. Etching is a method of using chemicals to cut a design or pattern into a metal surface. Etching your own designs into metal is easier than it may sound, and it can be a fun and rewarding way to make your own jewelry! Your friends will think you made a trip to the jewelry store without them! Kit/handout Fee: $50 (Paid to the teacher in the classroom). Kit includes: Riveting hammer, metal sheet, rivets, charms, jump rings, wire, ruler, and all etching solutions. Handout and more! Teacher will also bring tools to share.
Student supply list: Bring that only one earring because you lost the other one! SKU #: 504S Sat. June 17, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
