Successful Paper Piecing for All - ST-4

Easy steps and a little instruction allow anyone to experience not only paper piecing success but paper piecing joy! Skeptics are welcome in this "hands-on" experience (and you will love the perfection!).

WOW!! How can so many projects be so quickly and easily done with just one ruler? Placemats, table runners, jackets, center-pieces, Christmas tree skirts, quick quilt borders and more. We will share all of the possibilities with you and you will make a fun 42" table runner to take home with you. This is a great class for beginners but all are welcome.

Kit/handout Fee: $25 (Paid to the teacher in the classroom)
Kit includes: a 10 Degree acrylic ruler (22 1/2" in length), pattern, all fabric for a 42" table runner (top, batting, and binding).

Student supply list: Sewing machine, basic sewing supplies, light and dark thread. Helpful to bring mat/ruler/rotary cutter and also a small travel iron.

SEWING MACHINES ARE NOT PROVIDED. Bring your own machine in good working order, pedal and cord.

The Recipe for a Sweatshirt Jacket - SS-16

The only thing better than reading recipes is eating the finished product! You will love the finished results of the following recipe! Take one prewashed sweatshirt, your size in a unisex sweatshirt, preferably one from a good thrift shop; add pieces of fun and colorful fabric, possibly using materials from unfinished projects; using decorative stitches ~ go crazy as you quilt the jacket; add ribbons, yarns, braids, crystals, paint and anything else that comes to mind. Those are the basic ingredients and we will show you the options and opportunities to make pockets, line the lower sleeves and finish with stunning results. Come have fun ~ ideal for adult or children.
