Learn how to use a ruler foot and Learn how to use a ruler foot and templates on your home machine. Create beautiful finished quilts in your own home. Never pay for quilting again. Stephanie's designed these tools with quilters in mind. No marking, no pining, no fuss, no muss, just super easy quilting. Join the fun you'll be quilting all over patterns, swirls, and feathers by the end of class.

Kit/handout Fee: $95 (Paid to the teacher in the classroom)
Kit includes: Mini Ruler foot to fit your machine, five-piece beginners set of templates, a cheat sheet, link to online tutorials.

Student supply list: Sewing machine with extension table if you have one. Pencil, notepad, thread snips, 2-1 yd. quilt sandwiches spray basted together. If you have a mini ruler set and foot please bring it.

SEWING MACHINES ARE NOT PROVIDED. Bring your own machine in good working order, pedal and cord.

Jenny Pedigo of Sew Kind of Wonderful will teach how to use curved rulers to add interest and variety to traditional straight-line pieced quilts, borders and negative spaces. Learn how to enhance secondary designs with a combination of straight and curved quilting to bring out the beauty of each quilt.

Join Gina Perkes as she shares with you her favorite quilting tools. You will discover how to use stencils to quickly mark designs onto your quilting space, then how to plan stitching paths to reduce or eliminate backtracking by adding secondary designs in your quilting. You will also learn new techniques for using a variety of ruler styles. Discover how to outline applique shapes with precision using specialty guides. You will learn a variety of methods for marking designs onto your quilt top with no fear! Two students per machine.

Kit/handout Fee: $20 (Paid to the teacher in the classroom)
Kit includes: Material, batting, thread, handout.

Student supply list: notebook/sketchpad/pencil, light-colored marking pencil for quilting (such as Bohin or Sewline), thread snips.

This class is a hands-on, stand-up longarm class. Two students per machine head. The skills taught in this class can be used on any longarm where the machine moves attached to a stationary frame.

In this class, Dusty will start at the beginning from the base plate to template. Everything you need to know about your longarm before you attempt quilting with tools. He will demonstrate different methods of holding your tools and a few tricks to keep them from sliding around on your fabric. Dusty will bring lots of templates and rulers to share and will give lots of tips on filling in areas with free motion work as well.

Kit/handout Fee: $20 (Paid to the teacher in the classroom)
Kit includes: Top and backing fabric, batting thread and handout.

Student supply list: Sketchpad pen and snips.

WOW!! How can so many projects be so quickly and easily done with just one ruler? Placemats, table runners, jackets, center-pieces, Christmas tree skirts, quick quilt borders and more. We will share all of the possibilities with you and you will make a fun 42" table runner to take home with you. This is a great class for beginners but all are welcome.

Kit/handout Fee: $25 (Paid to the teacher in the classroom)
Kit includes: a 10 Degree acrylic ruler (22 1/2" in length), pattern, all fabric for a 42" table runner (top, batting, and binding).

Student supply list: Sewing machine, basic sewing supplies, light and dark thread. Helpful to bring mat/ruler/rotary cutter and also a small travel iron.
